Northern Montana’s Whitefish Lake played a starring role in Shelley and Chris’ magical wedding. Magical especially because Chris, a huge Buccaneers fan. celebrated his team’s victory just before saying “I do.”

Just outside Boulder, Colorado you’ll find the Frog Belly Farm…it’s actually located in Longmont. It’s a working farm by day, turning out beautiful produce among other products. Sarah and Greg chose this farm as a reflection of their unique style, not super traditional but stylish with a flair for fun…when you see the cake topper, you’ll understand.
We love the opportunity to film multiple weddings within families. Several years ago, we had the privilege of filming Sarah’s cousin Katie’s wedding at the Moonlight Lodge in Big Sky, Montana. Thanks Sorum family, especially Cindy, for welcoming us back. It was great reconnecting!
The weather could not have been more beautiful for this destination wedding in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Cherie and Darin and most of their friends and family traveled from L.A. to celebrate against the backdrop of the Grand Tetons, one of the most spectacular places on the planet!

We love Montana, but it was great to travel down to film a wedding in Palm Desert….especially in March. How refreshing to see flowers, hear birds and get some Vitamin D production started after a few chilly months. Michelle and Joe traveled from Seattle to meet up with great friends and family for this Palm Desert destination wedding. This was a special location as Joe’s parents were married in the same church years ago. And La Quinta Resort was just glorious….perfect weather for a magical outdoor reception at this historic location.
How wonderful for us when we are able to film multiple weddings within families and circles of friends. Working with Jamie and Just was the third time we’d been with this fantastic gathering and it truly felt like being with close friends. Early fall in Montana doesn’t get much prettier than this September 17, 2011 wedding day chosen by the couple. Truly a family affair…everyone pitched in…from the decorating to the cooking, baking and serving…and if you were anywhere in the vicinity….you could definitely feel the love!

Wedding for 700 anyone? The Cathedral of St. Helena was filled to capacity for the marriage of Rachael and Bob. Seven hundred of their closest friends and family gathered within this glorious landmark and then on to the Helena Civic Center Ballroom, to share in the love!

We love filming weddings at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake any time of year. With the mountains and lake backdrop you just can’t go wrong when it comes to capturing beautiful images. Justin and Olga were married by the wonderfully talented Rabbi Allen Secher in a traditional Jewish ceremony. The newlyweds then mesmerized their guests with their perfectly choreographed tango as their first dance.
Steph and Joby chose a beautiful autumn day in Big Sky to get married, with Lone Mountain as the backdrop. But Mother Nature had other plans, in the form of a full-on snowstorm. And although the ceremony moved indoors, the snow created a lovely accent for the entire event…along with the blueberries!

Kelly and Chris’ wedding is memorable for me, not only because Kelly was one of the loveliest and most exuberant brides, but because I had to mic Tom Brokaw, who officiated this wedding. I am a first a journalist, still regularly producing network news stories, and have followed Tom Brokaw’s career since his days in Los Angeles. So when it became my job to place a lapel mic on him before the ceremony, I was practically speechless. It was a great moment. And the ceremony….both incredibly emotional and entertaining as he defined and showcased Kelly and Chris’ love beautifully.
